Policing with Procedural Justice (for non UK Forces)

This is an online version of the ‘in person’ Policing with Procedural Justice course that we teach. This online course is designed for Forces and Agencies where the travel costs and logistics of coming to Cambridge are prohibitively expensive.

Learn from anywhere. Start when you are ready. This online course is designed to take approximately sixteen weeks.

The course comprises of around 12 hrs of video lectures (26 videos) which cover 11 separate experiments in Procedural Justice. These experiments come from the USA, England, Scotland, Australia and Turkey. The experiments take place in the context of stop and search, airport security, police complaints, police traffic enforcement, high visibility policing, telephone investigations and suspended prosecution initiatives.

There are also 10 suggested readings, links to a total of 28 additional readings, a practical exercise that you discuss in a tutorial and an additional tutorial with a Cambridge Tutor at the conclusion of the course.
