The Cambridge Centre provides low-cost publications with high-value content, including a free copy of Lawrence Sherman’s 1998 Police Foundation Lecture Evidence-Based Policing for anyone who registers as an associate member. Sherman’s 2015 book will also be available at a low price in both paperback and electronic reader formats.

Other publications will be included in the annual payment for a full membership in the Cambridge Centre, including breaking news on research results, reports on new tests and targeting, case studies of EBP successes and evidence reviews.

  1. Presidential Task Force Interim Report

    On 24 February, 2015, Professor Sherman testified before President Barack Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The Task Force seeks to identify best practices and make recommendations to the President on how policing practices can promote effective crime reduction while building public trust and examine, among other issues, how to foster strong, collaborative relationships between local law enforcement and the communities they protect.
